“ Came for a quick shot of espresso and stayed for the atmosphere. Kindly treated and immediately helped. Also,as I'm sure you already guessed it it's a plus if you have a capital one card when you purchase to get a discount. ”

“ I wasn't going to post this originally but I've since had a change of heart. Last Sunday Kevin and I went to a comedy show in short pump, a comedian Kevin really started to like since doing dialysis (a past time while doing treatment) Christian Johnson Ent. was in town and I thought that would be the perfect surprise for Kevin, so I purchased tickets. Unfortunately while walking the shopping center, enjoying the weather, Kevin became ill... He started getting dizzy and then he started vomiting outside in the courtyard, I was scared, concerned etc .. I was able to get him seated and he started asking for cold water ... I'm frantically looking around and I see Starbucks ... I walk inside and it's packed, cool... I asked the people waiting for their order if they minded me going to the front to ask for water because my husband was really sick and needed it ... They were all okay with it.... I got to the serving counter, I asked the employee who was the closest if I could get water, my exact words were " hey, excuse me, my husband is outside sick, he's in stage 4 kidney failure and is having a really bad episode, can I please get a cup of ice water" (I shared the details because I was frantic) .. he looked at me and said "you have to get in line" .. I said "Sir, I'm just trying to get ice water and hurry back to my husband" .. he replied again with " okay, well that's policy, get in line".... I was like alrighty, as I went to walk out, a customer who was waiting for her order said "wow, that's disgusting, I'm getting a refund, for my order because that was horrible"... She then suggested that I try the Capital One Cafe across the courtyard, and I did... I walked in there, said the same thing, the lady was like " oh my God yeah, let me get that for you, she went to the counter, asked one of the workers behind the counter for a large cup of ice water and expressed to them that she needed it quickly.... I thanked her, she said no problem she sent well wishes to Kevin .... My sister ended up calling me to check on Kevin and I told her what happened, my sister who's employed by capital one asked me to go back and get the ladies name so that she can send her an employee gift through their system ... I really don't know the overall purpose of me posting this, I just felt like it needed to be shared .. we have to watch who we give our money to and who we DON'T give our money to ... I know for me, Starbucks at short pump won't be seeing me again... (Picture of Kevin I took when my sister wanted to see how he was doing) And shout-out to the young lady at the Capital One Cafe short pump location.. I believe her name was Emily but I could be wrong... But she was amazing! ”
“ First time coming here. Capital One Cafe is also a bank. Took a chance to see if we could get a medallion stamp to certify the document. Unfortunately, the cafe bank can’t do it, we have to go to the actual bank to get it done. The ambassador at the cafe was so nice and helpful. He made several phone calls for us to confirm that Capital One offers this service at the Woodbridge branch. Best customer service ever experienced!! He even paid for our drink! Highly recommended! Next time when I come by Short Pump, I will stop by for a coffee, 50% off for Capital One customers. ”
